David Garrard is Recognia's VP Research and VP Asia Pacific. In Asia Pacific David is responsible for establishing Recognia’s uniqe suite of investment products in the region. He oversees all sales, channel management and business development responsibilities.
David has been trading for close to 30 years, and has been instrumental in the development of the Recognia product suite, the underlying analytics and the extensive infrastructure required to deliver financial analytics to global clients. With a degree in Computer Science and Physics and access to Recognia’s extensive database of recognized patterns in stock prices, David has also developed back-testing and data mining systems that have been used in quantifying and optimizing the performance of Recognia’s analytics.
After graduating from Queen's University of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, David spent nine years overseas in the oilfield services industry. Upon his return to Canada, David became active in high tech entrepreneurial circles and angel investing. His deep understanding of financial analytics, information technology and a strong commitment to customer service makes him an ideal advocate for Recognia on the international scene.
