If you are starting from scratch, click the button “Create a Custom Watchlist”; give it a name and a description. Once you have the watch list window on your screen, whether it’s a new one or an old one, you can type in symbols individually or add many symbols at the same time by simply copying and pasting from any screen or spreadsheet. Don’t worry about copying and pasting extra data, column headers, prices, etc.; we strip that out for you and find just the stock symbols.
